Happy Holidaays

Can it really be that a whole year has already gone by since last Kwanzaa? And the answer is "no it hasn't" - because Kwanzaa is a week long, and so it's only been 51 weeks since the last one. Still, it just doesn't seem like most of a year could have gone by so rapidly.

It is, of course, a time of warmth and nostalgia for all of us, filled with holiday traditions and memories. Hearing Bing Crosby sing
Nguzo Saba...watching "How the Grinch Stole Odu Ifa"...or settling in with a cup of hot cocoa to watch Jimmy Stewart in the classic "It's a Wonderful Walimwengu."

We only wish that everyone could keep the spirit of Kwanzaa in their hearts "24/7, 364 days a year" (as Janet Napolitano used to say). It seems like it's
always our goal...and maybe this year we'll actually be able to stick to it!

But for now,
Hope n' Change wishes one and all a very Heri za Kwanzaa. And a Hotep Ase Heri!

Ah, yes ... Kwanzaa ... that time honored celebration ... created in 1966!.

Merry Christmas to all! It is more than a week long: 12 days to be precise. It ends on January 6th, aka Three Kings Day.

My favorite kwanzaa tradition is to take 17 days off and go to Hawaii for a luxurious vacation ... paid for by someone else.

Ah Kwanzaa; A holiday only gullible white liberals can take seriously.

Ann Coulter has a short, concise history of Kwanzaa for those interested in the real history of what the clueless will be celebrating:

http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2013-12-26.html

"Kwanzaa praises collectivism in every possible area of life", particularly collective stupidity.

If anything, it's a tribute to the insanity that is bred of brainless multiculturalism; Don't judge anything.

Yes... kwanzaaaaaaa... sitting around the mud hut, singing songs about aunt zetuni ripping off taxpayers with her illegal draws from the public treasury, warmed by setting whitey's cars on fire after the Lions win a football game, waxing nostalgic of how the family used to sell children into slavery to make money that they were to lazy or worthless to generate by doing something USEful or constructive, worshiping a piece of wood you've carved into the likeness of a 3-foot DICK to celebrate the fertility that allows you to impregnate 27 women and 2 gorillas in the next village, (how did you THINK Don Cheadle got his looks), and venerating a guy who developed the process of making peanut butter as if he had created a cure for cancer because you're trying to obfuscate the fact that your people are better at propagating STD's than doing something productive. Yes... kwanzaa... the most anachronistic holiday on earth that celebrates "family unity" for men who sow cultural ROT by fathering 76% of their children out of marriage while referring to the object of their lust as "bitches and hos". Ahhh, kwanzaa... the holiday as useful as tits on a boar hog.

Oh no ... only 357 shopping days until Kwansaa.

Two Pagans are at a solstice gathering, and just before dawn, as the sky begins to pale, one turn to the other and says "isn't it amazing, all these Christians bitching about Kwanzaa being a 'made up' holiday, designed to piggy back on THEIR mid-winter celebration?"

And yes, it's a BS holiday, w/ BS intent, created by a tortuously misogynistic felon, but let's be a bit careful about pots and kettles, is all I'm sayin'...

Heh - passphrase - " preserv retyfoo"

@Chuck- I usually celebrate Three Kings Day with a movie marathon of "Frankincense," "Son of Frankincense," and "Bride of Frankincense."

@CenTexTim- So THAT'S what Kujichagulia means!

@John the Econ- Very interesting piece from Coulter! A favorite quote: When Karenga (the radical creator of Kwanzaa) was asked to distinguish Kawaida, the philosophy underlying Kwanzaa, from "classical Marxism," he essentially said that, under Kawaida, we also hate whites.

@Bruce Bleu- You just wrote one of the funniest and most politically-incorrect rants I've seen in quite awhile!

@Woodsterman (Odie)- Shopping, shoplifting, whatever...

@Stan da Man- The actual history behind a lot of holiday celebrations is a little "iffy," but Kwanzaa still stands out as being a particularly odd and questionable invention.

And by the way, I find the easiest way to preserv retyfoo is to dip it in lemon juice, roll it in salt, then leave it in a warm oven until it has the consistency of jerky.

Re: Bruce Bleu ... "What he said!" is all I can retort. [lol] Who could add anything to such a perfect analogy of yet another made up event to appease the white mans burden.
And a Happy Saturnalia y'all.

My favorite quote from Ann Coulter's essay:

"Kawaida, Kwanzaa and Kuumba are also the only three Kardashian sisters not to have their own shows on the E! network."

As for Don Cheadle, he was excellent in "Hotel Rwanda". He may think way too highly of Barack Hussein, but in that movie, he shined.

Stilt, all agreed - Other's may be "iffy" but Kwansaa is "Whiffy"...

So that we ALL may celebrate Kwanzaa during this holy time of...well, celebration...

Ujamaa, practiced on the fourth day of Kwanzaa, is defined during Kwanzaa as "cooperative economics." Cooperative economics offers everyone a fair and equal chance to work and enjoy life through relationships and the goods of this world. It is recommended to stop governmental and private corruption, unnecessary plunder, community pollution and resource depletion. Choosing to practice Ujamaa can lead individual communities and large nations alike to become economically cooperative with other places around the world.

Yes, celebrate...the fact that you don't buy into this crock of s**t!

PRY AGAIN said...

and....no unnecessary plundering now!!

John the Econ said...

@PRY, is there anything that symbolizes "governmental and private corruption, unnecessary plunder, community pollution and resource depletion." more than a guy who now makes 6-figures plus state pension benefits "teaching" at state university that pumps out more useless "black studies" degrees than anything else to dumb kids piling up student loans for the privilege?

Talk about "exploitation" of the "poor" and "underprivileged".

The 'knock-out' game....

Black on White....Okay

White on Black...NOT Okay

Seems that way at least, according to what happened in Texas.

This from a newspaper that covered the original event on page 8, a mere footnote to the day's events.

Hard to imagine how Hillary will be able to survive redundant videos of "What difference does it make."

The power of the ignorant masses !
